Box bags and a new workbag/satchel

I have just finished a batch of light olive bags...two box bags, little essential 'fit it all in' bags that sling over the shoulder and a laptop/briefcase. I decided to leave off with the lining to reveal the glorious green colour which usually gets covered by the pigskin lining.

Starting out

I am a full time maker designer living a rural life in Devon England. I have just opened a shop in Chulmleigh selling handmade leather bags and accessories.

My intention is to produce leatherwork and paintings.....in the first posts there will be more leather bags as I build up the business but I am an avid follower of the painting a day movement and enjoy the stimulation of daily posts from painters around the world.

These bags are from the 'contemporary workbags ' range in seasonal pumpkin coloured leather.
